MODIMOS - Managed Object-Based
Distributed Monitoring System

  Managed Object-based Distributed Monitoring System (MODIMOS) is a tool for monitoring the structure and behaviour of distributed object environments. MODIMOS is intended to support interoperability between diverse object-based distributed systems. In particular, it is oriented towards applications built of many cooperating components, written in different computing environments. We believe that such systems will become common in the near future, and software technology based on composition techniques will be one of the dominating ones. MODIMOS is adaptable, which means that it can be expanded by adding new distributed environments, representing different computational models.
