MODIMOS Global Monitoring Layer
Global Monitoring Layer collects reported events in a database called
Internal Model (reflecting the architecture and current state of the
monitored environment), cooperates with Graphical User Interface in
the process of information visualization, implements the selective
monitoring policy, and manages domains of local monitors. The Global
Monitor cooperates with the observed environments via the
Interoperability Layer, to achieve fair, heterogeneous
communication. It must also be aware of the environments'
specificities and differences in their computational models, to allow for
appropriate visualization.
