Description of the activity:
At each step of project realization the information about its current state will be made accessible. This will include description of the courses provided, laboratories established and teaching methods invented.
- With regard to this activity a World Wide Web server (WWW), as the nowadays most popular information retrieving interface, will be created. It will render syllabuses, assessments and lecture notes of the courses provided as well as description of teaching methods introduced. This information will be also available by ftp. A person responsible for this undertaking will be selected from the staff involved in the project.
- Results of the project will be presented at the annual meetings and conferences, such as (in Poland): PolMAN, National Computer Networks Seminar, PTI Annual School and others, organized by organizations including Polish Information Processing Society (PTI), Polish Electrical Engineering Society (SEP), Polish Business Foundation Group and others. These seminars group together participants from industry and academia allowing fruitful information interchange.
- The outcome of the project will be presented in the appropriate
periodicals ("Informatyka", "Computer World", "UNIX world", "NET forum", etc.).
- At the Academic Computer Centre of Cracow 'Cyfronet', which has a twenty-year-old tradition of organizing such meetings, seminars will be also prepared for interested educational institutions from Poland and other Eastern or Central European Countries as well as EC partners. The appropriate Calls for Participation will be prepared and distributed by regular and electronic mail. The organization of the seminar will be undertaken by a chosen person.
- A schoolbook covering materials of the introduced courses will be prepared and published for a broad audience of Polish academic community
